I hope the heavens think of me

I hope the heavens see me too
As I gaze up upwards
In moments of high and low
I hope they see me too.

I hope the heavens bother about me
As I live my life
hoping to one day be with them
I hope the heavens long to be with me too

I hope the heavens feel me too
Like I feel the rains on their days of gloom
I hope they know what I’m going through
I hope they feel my falling tears too.

I hope the heavens find a friend in me
As I whisper to them daily
The deepest wishes and thoughts that plague me
I hope they learn to confide in me too.

I hope the heavens think of me
The same way I think of them
In unplanned daydreams that brighten up my day
I hope they dream of me too.
