Why should I be the one to call
Like I have nothing doing at all
Why should I always wait on your call
Am I not your one and all?

Why must I wait to receive your gifts
You should know you owe me those
Why must I beg to be touched and kissed
I trail you like an addict craving his dose.

What did I do to get you so angry
You shout, spit and curse so wildly
Why can’t we talk things out like we used to
Even my birthday is now news to you.

What went wrong, I wonder
Take me back to the days of joy and laughter
Has our love been put asunder?
I know I can’t stand your presence either.

What has become of cupid’s arrow
Dead and gone, it would seem
I want off this dying vessel;
Off this ship of relations sinking deep.
